The newly revised GB/T22875-2018 "Highly absorbent resin for diapers and sanitary napkins" improves the safety index requirements of residual monomer (acrylic acid), adjusts the requirements of absorption speed index and the determination method of volatile content, and increases the yellowing value, extractable content and corresponding determination methods.
The newly revised GB/T8939-2018 "Sanitary napkins (pads)" mainly increases the two safety indicators of formaldehyde content and migratory fluorescent substances, uses absorption speed instead of infiltration amount index, increases the absorption rate measurement method, and adjusts the determination method of peeling strength of adhesive backing.
The newly revised GB/T20810-2018 "Toilet Paper (Including Toilet Paper Base Paper)" mainly adds safety performance indicators such as migratory fluorescent substances, heavy metal content, ash and physical performance indicators such as spherical bursting resistance, dispersibility, powder drop rate, and adjusts product classification, brightness, tensile index, softness, dust degree and deviation requirements.
The newly formulated GB/T36420-2018 "Safety Assessment Management System for Chemicals and Raw Materials for Household Paper and Paper Products" stipulates the principles and related requirements of the safety assessment management system for chemicals and raw materials.
